Elon Musk. Jensen Huang. Washington. What’s the Connection?

They’re all looking at the same massive opportunity: AI moving into the physical economy.

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s CEO, put it bluntly: “If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.”

Washington is putting more than $1 billion behind farm modernization and food-supply resilience, while pushing precision agriculture and private-sector innovation.

It’s about making the real world work smarter.

And DIT AgTech is already putting Physical AI to work in livestock. Their infrastructure automatically delivers the right nutrition through livestock drinking water, helping ranchers produce more with less.

500+ units deployed. 370,000 head on the platform.

Now DIT AgTech is taking it to the U.S.

Most investors will discover DIT AgTech too late.

Do you want to discover the story when everyone is talking about it? Or be one of the people who saw it coming?

At $1 a share, probably not worth missing.

And if your yard is buried in leaves, now’s the time to get ahead of it while the weather holds.

Also, ever wonder how farms are putting AI to work? This week’s sponsor, DIT AgTech, builds systems that deliver nutrition to livestock through their drinking water, and it’s raising money from everyday investors. Check them out, if you want, at the top of this week’s issue.

Chanhassen Trivia

One of America’s most popular apples was bred at the University of Minnesota’s research center just down the road, and it nearly got thrown out before it ever reached a store. Which apple is it, and what year did it finally hit the market?

  • Avienda’s Updated Plan Gets a Unanimous Yes · Last Monday the City Council voted 5 to 0 to approve nine changes to the rules that govern Avienda. The changes cover which kinds of businesses can move in, along with parking, signage, landscaping, stormwater, and building design. One piece never made it to a vote: the developer pulled its request to add another apartment building with up to 200 units and shops on the ground floor. This isn’t the final word on what gets built, though. Each building and site plan still goes through its own review, with more chances for residents to weigh in. Read the Council recap

  • Meet Chanhassen’s Interim City Manager · Brian Heck takes over day to day operations at City Hall on Dec. 7, once Laurie Hokkanen leaves for Edina. He brings more than 20 years in city government, most recently as Montgomery’s city administrator from 2013 until he retired this September, and before that in Shorewood and Lauderdale. He has also stepped in as interim administrator in Thief River Falls and Wells, so filling the gap during a search is familiar territory. Expect him at City Hall about four days a week while the Council works toward hiring a permanent manager in spring 2027. Read the city’s announcement

  • Downtown Closures Run Through Friday · Market Boulevard’s last round of paving is underway. Eastbound West 78th Street reopened Thursday, but westbound West 78th and the stretch of Market Boulevard north of West 78th, right in front of City Hall, stay closed through Friday, Oct. 23. Need City Hall or the post office? Get there by Laredo Drive or Chan View. See the closure details

  • More From Last Monday’s Council Meeting · In a work session on the future of emergency medical care in town, the Council heard that Chanhassen is on pace for 1,744 medical calls this year, roughly 9% more than last year. The Council also recognized October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, with a presentation from Southern Valley Alliance, which supports people affected by domestic abuse across the area. Trivia Answer

Honeycrisp, released in 1991. The original cross was made in 1960 as part of the U of M’s push to breed apples that could survive Minnesota winters, and the seedling was planted in 1962 at the university’s Horticultural Research Center near Excelsior. On paper it didn’t look like much, and it was once slated to be discarded before testers gave it another look. Three decades after that first cross, Honeycrisp finally hit the market, became Minnesota’s official state fruit in 2006, and had earned the university more than $10 million in royalties by 2011.

Bonus: the U of M’s early season Zestar! apple is officially a variety called Minnewashta, the same name as Chanhassen’s Lake Minnewashta.
